Seat Ibiza Door Lock Problem

The passenger front door is not unlocking with the rest of the doors via key button central locking it will unlock from the inside when the handle is pulled. If caught early enough you could take the door card off and clean up the connections and it would work again.

With the key rotate the key once in the door lock cylinder in the locking direction. The car is an 09 seat leon unfortunately a few months out of warranty. The boot tailgate may not be opened. When this system is activated it is not possible to open the doors normally from the outside or the inside.

Which when it s locked isn t a big problem the door isn t used much but at the minute it s unlocked and we can t lock it manually due to it not having anything to push or press on the door. To activate the system using the remote control press the lock button on the remote once. A new one costs around 100 from vw and they re easy enough to fit.
